Town Supervisor

Alan Bell has been a resident of the Town of LaGrange since 1978.  He previously served on the Planning Board for more than 20 years, acting as Chairman for six years.  He has also acted as liaison to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Conservation Advisory Committee. Alan is committed to bringing business into the Town while ensuring that Open Space is preserved.  In addition, Alan is leading the charge in improvements to the technology used by the Town ensuring that our residents have easy access to relevant information at the Town, County, and State levels.

The Supervisor is the Treasurer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Town, as well as the Presiding Officer of the Town Board.  As the Administrator of Town Affairs, Alan implements policies adopted by the Town Board and coordinates the activities of Town Department heads.
